SCA announces the appointment of Michael Pailthorpe as National Director.

After an extensive and thorough process the Board of Sports Chaplaincy Australia are delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Pailthorpe (right) as our new National Director. MIke is a West Australian who comes to the position after extensive management experience in the Australian not-for-profit and commercial sectors.  He is passionate about sports ministry and is a partner at Riverview Church, Perth. He is married to Jodi and they have 4 children.  Mike will commence on March 12th 2018.  We welcome Mike as the new team leader and look forward to serving God with him.

SCA through its chaplains has such a rich history of serving clubs and sporting communities through Australia and I’m looking forward over the coming weeks and months to meeting and working with all of our key stakeholders including the local churches, sporting clubs, sponsors, supporters and of course the hundreds of dedicated chaplains that serve our sporting communities every day.”
