We want to thank the many people who have been praying for our Adelaide Crows Chaplain Mark Purser today after the news of the sudden death of Adelaide Crows Coach Phil Walsh.
Purser had recently cared for the players and club with the passing of former Melbourne Senior Coach and Crow’s assistant coach Dean Bailey. Again, this morning the club asked him to lead the club through this very sad and devastating time.
SCA National Director Cam Butler said “Mark is an exceptional carer and has served for many years in local and high performance clubs as chaplain.” Originally from Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs and Assistant Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Blackburn Purser played representative Hockey for Victoria. In the 2000’s he was the Eastern Rangers TAC Cup team chaplain until moving to Adelaide in 2010.
Your ongoing prayers are deeply felt and appreciated during this sad time.
