South Australian residents have had it pretty hard this summer with bush fires ravaging metropolitan and rural communities.
Mark Purser, Adelaide Crows (AFL) chaplain recently shared “Early this month 15 of my players come to Clovercrest Baptist to assist in our Fire Emergency Relief Centre.
It was great to have them at church to pack hampers, fill cars and distribute items through the Adelaide Hills.”
Mark noted that they selflessly served without any media, self-promotion, but were “Just happy to contribute to the vast array of needs.”
