At the SCA National Champions Dinner 2013 Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy emphasised the importance to “…look after our people better” describing the recent suicide deaths of two NRL players as ‘tragic’. Saying, “We have to find better ways to address the issue.”
On the night guest speaker Chris Connolly reflected on the need to see the good and bad things in life and sport as not being mutually exclusive.
