

Last week in Melbourne the 2017 CAMS Presidential Citation was awarded to Garry Coleman OAM as National Coordinator and Senior Chaplain for Motor Racing Ministries- SCA.

Mr Andrew Papadopolous Chairman of the Confederation of Australian Motorsport CAMS, made the presentation to Garry Coleman at the CAMS Awards night at Melbourne’s Crown Casino on Saturday February 18.
Coleman responded humbly saying, “This award is accepted on behalf of the many serving chaplains across most motor sport categories across the country.” Further adding “We are committed to serving the motorsport community in our honorary capacity.”
Attending with Garry was Arthur Bartlett a chaplain with MRM-SCA for over 25 years. He first started chaplaincy at the NASCAR Thunderdome in Calder and then served at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne. Bartlett also serves at Sandown and the Phillip Island track.
Along with his wife Bonnie, Arthur is the Founder and Creator of the famous Mill Valley Ranch Youth Camp in Tynong North, Victoria.
