Sports Chaplaincy Australia visited Port Lincoln from September 11 to 13 to provide training for local Sports Chaplains in the area.
Seven participants gathered at St Thomas’ Church for Sports Chaplaincy Australia’s Level 2 training, which is a three-day training event.
Participants included some who are already in their role in sporting clubs and others who are investigating what this means for them.
National Ministry development director Steve Stubbings travelled from Melbourne to lead the training, and Roger Johnson from the SA state office was also there to support the training.
